Berlin Packaging Continues European Expansion with the Acquisition of Glass Line

Addition of family-owned business strengthens Italian operations
MILAN (March 30, 2021) – Berlin Packaging, the world’s largest hybrid packaging supplier, announced today the acquisition of Glass Line, a Savona, Italy based supplier of glass and metal packaging specializing in the food and beverage end-markets.
As a family-run business, Glass Line has forged strong customer relationships and has significant expertise in the wine and olive oil markets. The company is co-led by Umberto Berruti and Patrizia Zoppi and has an established presence across Northwest Italy, including two warehouses in Liguria.

This is Berlin Packaging’s thirteenth acquisition in Europe since 2016, confirming the company’s strong commitment to offering packaging solutions in all segments of the European market.

Vinkova moves to Vincap office

Vinkova, an important supplier of glass food products and drink packaging solutions, announces it is moving its headquarters to an office space of Vincap in Houten, to accommodate continued business growth. Vinkova and Vincap are both companies acquired by Berlin Packaging. Therefore it makes sense to merge the physical companies into one office to realize the growth ambitions. The moving of Vinkova will be completed at the 1st of March 2021.

By physically merging the two offices together customers, suppliers and other stakeholders will now experience the best of both worlds.
